I'm scared. Somebody who's listening, please save everything I have written here. When I save it on my own computer, it doesn't seem safe enough.

In what way are you scared of it disappearing? After all, it's kept on the Livejournal servers as well as your own.

If you have a backup copy yourself, accidental loss is pretty remote, although deliberate self-destruction would still be a danger, I suppose ...

In the state I was in, everything was chaotic. If I took a wrong turn I would find myself an a frighteningy rearranged setting, and for all I know the chaos could have ruined everything. After the world (or at least my part of it) broke apart, I was glad that I had transcried part of hwat happened, so that anyone like me in the future would have an easier time reattaching everything.

And, by the way -- just because it should be said, and I haven't yet: It's good to see you still around.

I don't know what else I really can say. To this or any of it. I also don't know if you want me to say anything beyond acknowledging I'm reading. I don't know if you have anything to say to me, and that does make it a little awkward.

Given that all I know of you since your isolation is what's in this Livejournal, and how much you appear to have changed in that time, I feel like I'm looking at a half-built puzzle, seeing lines and shapes but not the picture yet. But I do plan to keep on reading, as much as you're willing to share.

Thank you.

You're welcome. Know how to let go of people. That's when more start to appear.
